Steve Frey, Class of 1981
Steve Frey, WTHS Class Of 1981, is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Montreal Expos, California Angels, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners and the Philadelphia Phillies from 1989 through 1996.
After high school, he played three seasons of college baseball at Bucks County Community College before he was drafted by the NY Yankees in the fifteenth round (379th overall) of the 1983 Major League Baseball draft.
Since 2004, Steve Frey serves as a coach at the IMG baseball academy in Bradenton, Florida. He has also been inducted into to WTHS Hall of Fame as well.
